Reasons why E-Cigarettes are banned in some countries.

In spite of the fact that e-cigarettes are much less harmful than the traditional tobacco cigarettes, some countries decided to ban them anyway. Reasons for that are maybe noble, but why to strip people from such an effective option of helping them to quit this nasty addiction?

One of these countries is Singapore. They’ve implemented complete ban for distribution as well as for the import of all products, which are related to e-cigarettes. The decision has been made basing on children and their potentially increased predilection for smoking.

Another one is Panama, which has banned e-cigarettes across the whole country. Not only import is forbidden, but also their sale. Whole thing has been habituated by Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Punishment for distribution of e-cigarettes or necessary appliances is very severe.

Canada also belongs on the list of countries, where e-cigarettes are prohibited. The main reason for that concerns health risk, which go along with using e-cigs. However, they apparently didn’t take under consideration all the benefits that one can gain from flavoured vapors.

Since September 21, 2011, e-cigarettes are also banned in Lebanon. Trading has been transformed into trafficking, which entrails serious, legal implications. So, if you’re planning to visit Lebanon soil in the near future, be sure you have all your e-products lying safely back home; otherwise you can get into very stern troubles.

The strongest prejudice, however, is showed by Brazil. Total ban on all e-cigs and accessories has been made due to health concerns, which in case of electronic cigarettes are emphasized by health agencies and Government itself. Everything is based on vestigial information about side effects and impact on good health of inhabitants. Sale, import, advertises and using these products is prohibited and entails to austere punishments.

This is WAR!!!

Since the first e-cigarettes appeared on global market, there has been many attempts to bring them down. Taking under consideration very fast development of this new product and constantly increasing demand from numerous smokers around the world, e-cigarettes have become serious threat to some large companies. Unremitting pursuit to ban new vapor experience has turned into relentless war in many countries.

E-cigarettes have to wrestle with serious competition, which has irresistable intensions to get rid of all e-devices and liquids. They bring out variety of aspects trying to keep the present status on the global market. Not too long ago, matter concerning minors has emerged. Apparently flavoured e-liquids, which in most of cases are quite tasteful, are tempting kids to start smoking. EU’s activists and moral role models emphasize this issue in majority of European countries. However, if the right is on their side, then why products like flavored alcohols or sweet drinks based on caffeine haven’t been banned yet?

This is true, e-cigarettes have many enemies, but the most dangerous of them all are the large companies of pharmaceutical industry. Big Pharma has their fingers in multiple jars and is equipped with weapon of mass destruction – The Government. Adding to this endless means in shape of money and power is enough to create nemesis for all e-cigarette manufacturers. Pharmaceutical companies monopolized whole world with inhalers, patches and gums, and they have no intensions to be replaced by other, better solutions. That’s why they are constantly lobbying to save their position as a leader in tobacco war.

Even several large tobacco concerns have started to produce their own e-cigarettes, because they prefer to join with the enemy and gain significant benefits, instead of draining themselves from their corpus. So, who’s right?
